Proof of vaccination
For travel into and out of Australia, travellers must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination status. Find out what type of proof you need.

International COVID-19 vaccination certificate
Before travelling, you must have an international COVID-19 vaccination certificate (ICVC).

You will need to present your ICVC when you check-in for your flight to or from Australia.

If you were vaccinated in Australia, you can get your ICVC from the MyGov portal.

If you were vaccinated overseas, your ICVC must confirm you have been vaccinated with a vaccine approved or recognised by the TGA.

You can confirm your vaccination status in an Australian Travel Declaration and (from February 2022) Digital Passenger Declaration.

You must have had your final dose at least 7 days before travelling.
